The iPhone application developer

This video is about how easy it is to just build your own mobile application for the iPhone and iPod Touch. This got me thinking about what I want to get into the 3rd year of my course. Initially I thought this would be a great device to develop for, however I quickly found out that there is a lot of coding involved and was difficult to get my hands on the iPhone software developers kit, SDK for short. This is the software you use to build and develop your iPhone and iPod Touch applications.

Adobe Flash secures set-top deal

Adobe has secured a deal to put its Flash software into many of the chips that go inside TVs and set-top boxes.

It will enable developers and content providers to create applications to deliver web-based content such as news, weather, share pricesĀ  and more to TV screens. The first applications using Flash are expected to hit TV sets early in 2010.
